Microsoft is planning to launch surface pro 5 for this new year

It was a report in Digi Times quoting China’s Economic Daily News, Microsoft is planning to launch the new surface pro 5 for this new year. In this report the new 2-in-1 will come across the people with ultra HD display and a magnetic stylus having wireless charging support. The Redmond-based software giant is reportedly planning to launch the surface pro 5 which is the next version of the surface pro hybrid. Surface pro 5 will be manufactured by the Pegatron Technology which manufactures the previous surface pro versions. The report doesn’t give any other hints or specifications about the upcoming device. However, the Redmond-based technology giant has confirmed it will be bringing Windows 10 on ARM-architecture based processors as part of a new partnership with Qualcomm. Microsoft confirmed that in future Windows 10 users will be able to experience their desktop apps on future tablets, phones, etc. which are running on Qualcomm processors. It was recently revealed that Microsoft is working behind-the-scenes to make its Windows 10 OS more friendly to gamers.

The company is reportedly developing a dedicated 'Gaming Mode,' as hinted in the latest build of its Windows 10 OS. Revealed by Twitter user Walking Cat, the latest build (14997) comes with a new 'gamemode.dll' file, indicating that there could be such under development. The tweet also mentions that Windows 10 will allow users to adjust resources allocated to the CPU, graphics and more. This may result in better gaming performance as well. But the rumors are that gaming mode is identical to the Xbox One handles the video games. Microsoft has already included DirectX12 support for gamers in Windows 10. Microsoft Surface Book comes in 256GB, 512GB or 1TB storage options priced at $2,399, $2,799, and $3,299, respectively. We’ll have to wait and see how soon the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is introduced to the world, and whether there will be different processor versions of this, including perhaps a Qualcomm one.
